Tier-1 Board

The Tier-1 Board advised the stakeholders on whether the Tier-1 Service at RAL is delivering its objectives on time and making appropriate use of its available resources. As of 13/3/08, the major functions of the Tier-1 Board have been devolved to the Deployment Board. However a GridPP review of the Tier-1 was carried out on Nov 21st 2008 and this will be repeated on approximately an annual basis becoming a Tier 1 board of sorts. As such the information provided on these pages relating to the Tier 1 board is to be considered of historical interest only.

User Board Schedule

The User Board is responsible for allocating the Tier-1 resources to the experiments. The allocated and used resources are maintained in the Schedule Document.
