PPNCG / UK-HEP-GRID Networking activities

Welcome to the UK HEP GRID Networking page.

Several HEP sites in the UK are currently interested in investigating and developing aspects of Grid infrastructure. The following links give a very brief overview of whom is known to be doing what in the UK HEP GRID Networking area:

  • CLRC Daresbury

  • Manchester HEP Group

  • UCL HEP Group

    • Workplan

    The Grid Networking Workplan has been prepared by the UK Grid HEP Network Group that includes several members of the PPNCG. It covers proposed work in the following areas:

  • Sustained bulk transfer
  • QoS and Differentiated Services
  • Monitoring and Network Resource Prediction
  • Modelling of the Network
